problem

What they needed.

Pregnancy and early motherhood in Australia are dense with information, most of it scattered. Women bounce between forums where the advice is anecdotal, hospital pamphlets that go out of date the week they print, government portals built for one moment in a journey that lasts years, and apps that drop them at six weeks postpartum. The system asks the most overwhelmed audience to do the most curation. Her Journey was built to be the calm, trustworthy alternative: one companion, written for every stage a woman goes through.

approach

How we built it.

We organised the product around the four life stages Her Journey serves: fertility, pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Content meets the user where she is right now, and connects her to nearby services when she needs them. We built for the conditions the product actually runs in, mid-strength mobile in a waiting room or the back of an Uber. Speed and clarity were the brief, not feature sprawl.

outcome

What happened.

Her Journey is live and growing across more stages and topics. We are now bringing the product to iOS and Android as native apps, so the same companion lives in users’ pockets with offline support and push notifications for the moments that matter most.
